Rubber grommet around the gear lever for the VW Beetle and Karmann Ghia up to 07/1960, with OEM number 111 711 115. The grommet seals the passage in the floor pan and keeps dust, moisture and noise out of the cabin. Replacement is common as soon as the rubber around the lever has hardened or torn.
