Left heat exchanger for the air-cooled VW T2/T3 Bus with 2.0L Type 4 engine, year 05/1979–07/1985, with OEM number 071 256 091E. The heat exchanger sits around the exhaust bends of cylinders 3 and 4 and feeds warm air to the interior via a flap. Replacement is necessary in case of rust-through of the jacket or exhaust leakage.
