Left front backing plate for the VW T1 Bus 08/1963–07/1967, OEM number 211 609 139B. The backing plate is mounted behind the brake drum on the steering knuckle and carries the wheel cylinder and brake shoes. Replacement is required in case of corrosion or distortion of the mounting surface.
