Upper shock absorber rubber for the VW Beetle 1303 from 08/1973, OEM number 133 412 303A. The rubber sits between the top of the shock absorber and the body mounting point and dampens vibrations that would otherwise be transmitted directly into the chassis. Replacement is common when the rubber has hardened or deformed after years of use.
