Cover cap for the upper strut bearing of the VW Beetle 1303 from 08/1973, OEM number 133 412 359. The cap sits on top of the strut bearing in the wheel arch and keeps water and dirt away from the bearing and the coil spring. Replacement is common during a strut overhaul or when the original cap has hardened or cracked.
