These springs and locking pads ensure your synchromesh shifts smoothly in first and second gear of your 091 gearbox. They gradually wear out with normal use - so replacing them along with your synchromesh rings is standard maintenance. You will need two pieces of 113 311 249A and three pieces of 014 311 313. Combine this with a complete synchromesh kit for your gearbox.
