Fits the VW T1 Bus, T2 Bus, Beetle, Karmann Ghia, T3 Bus, Type 3 and Type 181. This spring is located under the distributor and holds your distributor's drive gear in place. Without this spring - your ignition timing will drift - and your engine will run like a bag of bricks. The OEM number 111 105 233 fits all air-cooled models from T1 through Type 4. Combine this spring with a new distributor drive gear and rotor for a complete tune-up of your ignition system.
