Reinforcement plate under the floor pan bolt for the VW Beetle, OEM number 111 899 131A. The plate spreads the clamping force of the bolt over a larger area so that the bolted joint does not pull through the thin sheet metal of the floor. The original often rusts away and is usually replaced during floor pan restoration.
