This spring pulls the cooling flap back once the engine has reached the correct operating temperature, helping to ensure optimal engine cooling.
This return spring for the cooling air flap system is suitable for air-cooled Volkswagen Type 1 engines. The spring plays an important role in the operation of the cooling system.
The spring is located near the cooling air flaps behind the fan housing and helps ensure that the flaps return correctly to their base position. Together with the thermostat system, the cooling flaps are properly controlled during engine warm-up.
A small spring, but essential for a properly functioning engine cooling system.
